PENTAX Hosts Open Box Sale Featuring Cameras, Lenses and Accessories at Discounted Prices

Denver-Based Camera Manufacturer Partners with Denver Pro Photo to help find homes for homeless dogs and cats

Denver, CO (February, 19 2013) — PENTAX RICOH IMAGING AMERICAS CORPORATION , (PENTAX) a Denver-based camera manufacturer, has partnered with Denver Pro Photo to host an Open Box sale to benefit Animal Rescue of the Rockies (ARR), a non-profit organization committed to rescuing, arranging foster care and  finding permanent homes for homeless animals in and around the Denver metropolitan area.

Featuring new, gently used and reconditioned imaging products, PENTAX’s Open Box sale will take place on March 1st, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and March 2nd, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Denver Pro Photo located at 800 S. Jason Street, Denver, CO 80223. Attendees can expect to find over 2,700 items including DSLRs, point and shoot cameras, lenses, binoculars, spotting scopes and accessories sold at deeply discounted prices.

A portion of all proceeds generated from this sale will be donated to Animal Rescue of the Rockies to aid them in their mission of rescuing dogs and cats from over-populated shelters and placing them in permanent, loving homes. Additionally, in an effort to support and promote animal adoption, representatives from ARR will be on-site March 2nd from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with dogs and cats currently available for adoption.

Guests attending this event are also encouraged to bring along their leashed furry friends to have a professional pet portrait taken. Treats and props to help capture the perfect shot will be provided by PENTAX.
